The Nursery Room

Our babies’ space is a cosy and welcoming environment for children aged 6 months and up. With three nurturing educators caring for up to 12 little ones, the room provides a calm, secure space where babies can feel safe while exploring and learning at their own pace.

We follow Red Nose recommendations for safe sleep and play, and work closely with families to ensure each baby’s routines for feeding, rest, and play are respected. This helps create a smooth and comforting transition between home and care.

Every day, babies discover their world through sensory experiences that engage all five senses. They explore textures, sounds, colours, and shapes, encouraging curiosity and early learning through play. These experiences support development in areas such as problem-solving, motor skills, and early communication.

Social and emotional connections are a focus from the very beginning. Gentle interactions with educators and peers help babies form secure attachments, develop trust, and learn the foundations of communication and relationships.

From tummy time to cuddles, feeding to playful exploration, every moment in the babies’ room is an opportunity for growth. Here, little ones are supported to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in a nurturing and homelike environment.

Children also have access to a variety of play spaces both indoors and outdoors designed to stimulate and encourage learning across all areas of development including:
